We are verywacky and tacky in 4th grade today.  I thought that you would enjoy seeing a picture of the 4th graders outfits for Wacky, Tacky Day.  We are also having a great time playing our games from home today.  It has been a good day!

I wanted to remind you that we will not have school on Friday, February 17 and on Monday, February 20. I hope that you enjoy this relaxing break with your family. I also wanted to thank you for the wonderful Valentine gifts. You were very generous. I enjoyed Valentine’s day at school. I know that the kids really enjoyed the party and the box competition. Thanks for your hard work!

We are VERY excited in 4th grade to be going on a field trip to Berean Baptist Music Academy.  We will be leaving school at 9:15.  The program will be from 10:00-12:00.  After the program, we will be going to Chick-fil-A to eat.  The students need to bring money to buy their lunch.  Many students have already begun to bring in money.  We are going to have a great day!

We are very excited in 4th grade to begin our History notebook.  We will be working on the project in class as well as at home.  The students are very excited.  The project will take about 6 weeks to complete.  We are having a great time in class learning about the geography of our state.  More information will be coming home about the project next week.

We are having such a fun week this week in 4th Grade.  We have made 2 different ornaments.  Tomorrow we are having hot chocolate and movie day.  The boys and girls will also be able to bring a blanket and/or pillow.  On Thursday, we will have a game day with a special treat as well.  Our party will be on Friday at 11:00.  It is a very busy week, but we are having fun!

We have had a great time in Science class this week.  We have been making models of the moon.  We took modeling clay that we made ourselves and made a model of what it looks like on the moon.  We made rills, maria, craters, and mountains.  I hope that you enjoy our picture.  We had a great time and got very messy!

Our class is very excited about our Fall Party on Friday.  Our party will begin at 2:00 in the 4th grade classroom.  As always, parents are welcome to attend.  You will be free to take your child after the party.  If you are not attending, then we will have carline at normal time.   Also, remember that we will be out of school November 21-November25 for Thanksgiving Break.  The boys and girls are excited about being out for the entire week.  I hope that you have a great Thanksgiving!
