Welcome back to school. It is Patriotic Week in kindergarten. Today we learned about 2 great presidents, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. We also talked about our country’s flag. Tomorrow we are looking forward to our All American lunch, hot dogs of course. And Friday we will be dressing up patriotic. We are Looking forward to a fun week in kindergarten, learning about our great country, the United States of America. God bless America!

Today was the last day of school for four days! I know this made the students very sad, but I trust that they can hang in there during break. The students will need to be strong, and know that we will soon be back together as a man class once again!

Dissection Class

7th grade had an exciting class today. We dissected frogs, perch, and crayfish. We identified many organs and even found whole insects inside the frogs stomach. These students have really enjoyed learning to dissect this year.

We Love Art Class with Mrs. Smith!

One of our favorite times in school is Art class with Mrs. Smith! The girls are always so excited an Art Day to find out what they will be making. Paint! Glitter! Glue! Stamps! Scissors! Confetti! We never know with Mrs. Smith! This week it was Thumb-print Art. Come by and see their beautiful flowers and butterflies! Thank you Mrs. Smith for the awesome job as Art teacher and for helping us have so much fun!

What? A Four Day Weekend? Yippee!

Well, if any of you remember last year at this time trying to make up for so many icy snow days that we had, you are probably a lot like me right now. We are so thankful to be having a four day weekend! We pray that you are all safe and have a great time off with your families. See you on Tuesday!!! Remember, February is a great time to reflect on the love of God for us. He sent His only Son to pay the price for our sins. That’s the greatest love I can imagine!
